Courchevel is split into a number of resorts varying in height and style. Each resort has its own character and charm. Courchevel is renowned for its expensive bars, accommodation and restaurants with its famous (often rich ) visitors. Courchevel offers some fantastic skiing and scenery.

There are four main villages within the area.

Courchevel 1850 is the main village and is chic and cosmopolitan, with fine hotels and shops, designer boutiques, renowned restaurants, night clubs, a bowling rink and an ice rink. If any place is the 'place to be' this is it.

Courchevel 1650 , locally known as "Moriond", is regarded as a more friendly, relaxed village with wonderfully sunny ski slopes on the surrounding skyline. The relaxed charm is added to by the old chalets and rustic barns in the more traditional part of the village.

Chourchevel 1550 is the smallest of the three and lies beneath 1850.

Le Praz 1300 , the original village, has great alpine character with winding streets leading past delightful buildings of stone, wood and slate. It also has a good variety of bars and restaurants and is linked to Courchevel 1850 by a gondola. As part of the 3 Valleys and having links to Meribel, Mottaret, Les Menuires, St Martin de Belleville and Val Thorens, the skiing is amongst the best in Europe and the world.

The skiing is great for all levels with some great gentle beginner runs to some full blown couloirs and off piste skiing. Courchevel is a great place to enjoy, relax and feel a little bit special.
